I'm not really up to date with available ( young ) strikers but I wouldn't mind Defoe on a short term loan to kick the season off with a bang!

Ronaldo, Messi or Neymar would do a job.

I wouldn't know that as it depends on the tactics next season.

    1. Roberto Firmino 22y - Hoffenheim (technically not a striker but would represent the best replacement, see own thread (Our new #10)).
    2. Kevin Volland 21y - Hoffenheim
    3. Václav Kadlec 22y - Eintracht Frankfurt

Firmino will cost £14-15m, the other two will cost approx what we get from the Remy sale and will represent a decent profit in the future.

    Roberto Firmino

Definitely. That would be a coup.

For me, just a good solid player who would see us as a step up with something to prove. It would be an unproven risk but I like Assombalonga at Peterborugh.

Nothing wrong with ambition, that's how we got Remy against all odds...

I wouldn't say it was against all odds. He was about to go to Newcastle and we waved an extra £20k a week at him.

I like the thought of a frontline of Austin and Rhodes. I think we'd have a pair of young and hungry strimers with something to prove in the Premmy-wemmy. Let's see what they could do, with a couple of backups, before determining whether to splash out further in January 2015.

No point going for anybody we know nothing about. We need proven "boys" who we know can do a job. Oh well. That makes it Bobby Zamora, Les Ferdinand and that old maestro who is loyal to his master -step forward Joe Jordan. You're never too old to play for us.

Lukaku would be the dream, and will be a modern day sir Les for us.
I still think we should push the boat out for Danny Ings

Wouldnt mind the lad at Peterborough as a back up
Not bothered about Ings, vardy or Nugget

Like Noways selection but maybe not Kadlec.

Dont want Rhodes but not sure who id take instead...maybe messi or Neeymar could poss do a job in such a hard league ...???!!
