    One good thing, I can't remember the amount of times when Rickie was so far out wide and putting a cross in that I wished there was also another Rickie in the box to get on to the ball too! If this guy really does have an aeriel prowess then I'm guessing he will be in the box to receive balls, and fingers crossed, puts a few in the back of onion bag.

    I'm sure we all know, but he's a Saints fan - so maybe, just maybe, it'd appeal to him and we could twist Burnley's arm.

    Nice to be talking about incomings, even though it's off the back of Adam and Luke.

    I like Burnley, if only for the players they have sold us! Would be nice to see Vokes and Ings partnership in the PL.

    Lambert has gone...whether a new player is worse than him is of interest, but ultimately irrelevant. A player doing well elsewhere is informative, but doesn't mean he won't play better or worse for us. The fact is that we are desperately short of strikers...we needed one whether SRL stayed or not. Pelle has to be better than a kid learning his trade and a striker with ligament damage.

    Ah okay. Didn't realise he just had a year. I don't think £15m for 1 1/2 good strikers (going on opinions here) is bad business these days at all. It's not far off one disruptive Italian.
