certainly i'm a bit sad that they have given into Lallana especially when we apparently have enough funds to do our business this summer without selling him.

If we really push the boat out now and get someone spectacular that sadness and concern might disappear.

 

Listen to what Reed said(not Krueger). He said a player will only go if it's right for us. A player not wanting to be here and being offered a good price means it is good for the club.

 

I don't believe MP would ever be convinced to stay here...we offered enough to convince Koeman to come, so the board was making serious offers. Mauricio played everyone and I really am disgusted by him. As for the youth team coaches...it was sudden and no one really came out in outrage (such as MLT or Benali) so I'm guessing they did behave badly.

The problem here is that these moves have been foreseen for a while, first they were on and then off, so it's almost like double transfers. I hope that we have incoming players already lined up...we usually take too long over those. We need more positive news and soon. The team has to be in place and training together ASAP.

 

I'm going to want some serious ****ing signings, I'll tell you that much. I'm waiting to have too much of a go at the board until I see what kind of replacements we're going for. There's not a single player in the Eredivisie who can replace Lallana so we'd better be spending some serious money on some serious players.

 

Get a grip on what? I have never bemoaned players or staff for wanting to leave. The board are undermining there staff, announcing theyre staying when they dont want to. Once again, I DONT CARE if players want to go, i just cant handle the lies of the board. Captain, fan favourite, best prospect, manager and first and youth team coaching staff seems more than standard summer sale doesnt it? and its not even July. The fact is, people say support the club, not the staff at anyone time, but that Saints team i supported last season at the top of my lungs will no longer exist in the same way.. its kind of hard to keep the romance for the club going when my two favourite players have f**ked off, all after the board promised me they wouldnt, oh that they said all of this around season ticket sales time. £550 pounds to potentially watch a completely new team which i have no attachment too. I don't think so.

 

Good thing we're having such exciting rumours. If all the rumoured prices for Marshall, Caulker, Pelle and Immers are true and they all come off, that'd be the Luke money gone

 

The club needs to announce some quality additions to the squad quickly before the panic really gets going both with us fans and also (more importantly) the players

 

Selling Lallana, who is irreplaceable and would have been happy enough to stay, for £25m after saying they would hold out for £30m is not "right for us".

 

Only Krueger said no one would leave and no one listens to him anyways.

 

It suits us selling him for that fee. Nine goals and six assists in an entire season isn't special considering he was playing as a wing forward or 10. He's a twat though. He's not gone about leaving in the right manner at all.

 

I just heard the rumour, and it may be totally rubbish or common knowledge on here but I missed it, that one of the key points of dispute between the players and the board is that Cortese promised huge bonuses for a record points tally this season, but the board has refused to honour this - as KL felt she never santioned it in the first place. Anyone know id this is true?

And on Lallana, he's gone. Get over it. He's made noises all summer and we're well rid of him.

I heard the same as well. If true, then it's just another one of Cortese's methods of bringing in and keeping our best players. Unfortunately, his ambitions were never realistic, hence the situation we now find ourselves in. Lallana has gone about the transfer all wrong as well, don't think I can forgive him for moving now.

Reed said no one would leave if it didnt suit us. I guarentee losing that many staff seriously affects continuity. Rushing in a whole coaching staff then making signings to improve on last season and replace our BEST players will be almost impossible. Immers, Pelle and TK from Nice do NOT replace what we've sold. So yes Reed has lied as that really doesn't suit us at all. Keeping our best players and captain suits us.
