it being an obvious simpsons quote, what do you think? If only there were some sort of system implemented on here, where good banter got you points, and poor banter meant you lost points <whistle>

<laugh> I can't believe some of these newbies, they think they own the board.

    I don't think we have any indispensable players/staff. Every single one of them is replaceable for me. However, the ones I would least like to have to replace are;

    1. Tiote
    2. Graham Carr
    3. Enrique

Each of them because I think they are near the top of their respective positions/roles within the game and therefore it would be hard to find suitable replacements, or it is unlikely that better candidates than them would want to join.

But I don't believe anybody is actually indispensable.

I agree with Donkey Toon but would also add Colo into that list of players I'd least like to lose.

Good call on Carr as well. He's done a sterling job to date.

Surely you can't be criticising Barton last season? Instrumental

No 1 player is bigger than the club but for me in order of who must stay most:

Enrique - Our best player... Fact.. Should be entering his best few years in football.
Tiote - Such a solid first year in the PL, Should be entering his best few years in football.
S.Taylor - Always a rock at the back, will fill the void left by Nolan with team spirit/moral.
Barton - Because he will stick a rocket up the rear of Colo/Jonas if they aren't performing.
Ranger - We sold Carroll for 35M cos he banged a few goals in, still think if this lad can find the back of the net and keep himself out of trouble he can be just as good a player as AC.
Jonas - For his great understanding with Enrique down the left side of the pitch

Although it is clear that the OP is a bit of a douche, you cannot deny that losing Ben Arfa would be a major disappointment, and he is a massive part of our plans for the future. This guy used to be rated in the top, top bracket of the best players in Europe. He has lots of quality, you cannot deny he is going to vital if we are going to really challenge.

Nice to see somebody rating ranger, i feel he has attributes that could make him a really good player, he just needs to work hard in training and practice his finishing. He bottles it in the actual games when its time to shoot, but he does try and work hard in games, far better workrate than ameobi and hes got more pace. Hes still only like 20/21 right? so he could become a half decent player in future i would keep him and best and get rid of ameobi, mcloven can still score goals and makes clever runs, ameobi is meant to be a legend but lets be honest when he actually plays and he gives the ball away he doesnt seem like a legend he seems like a bellend who harms our chances.

Maybe not indispensable but these are the players I would build a team around in the next 5 years:

    S. Taylor - local lad, passionate, never loses a header, scores a few, strong in the tackle and still quite young.

Collo - class act. The kind of calm experienced head you need in your back four.

Enrique - brilliant player. Not a single player in the league can outpace or outmuscle him (apart from, oddly enough, Somen Tchyoi).

Tiote - adapted to the premier league unbeleivably quickly and will only improve as he is still quite young. Seems to genuinely love the club as well.

Ferguson - potential to be brilliant. Great pace, quick feet and not a bad cross on him either.

Ben Arfa - if he isn't affected too much by his injury, he should be very good for us. Has that little bit of skill and guile we have been missing this season.

I know it's six but I couldn't leave any of them out. Sorry!
