We have to remember too that we're not in the market for £20m plus player. Players that are genuinely worth that kind of money would want the wages and the level of football that goes with it. I doubt we would spend more that £15m on one player and even then that is likely to be slightly over the odds.

Shaw is a great talent and will be tough to replace. I think people slightly underestimate quite how good he is because he plays as a left back. Yes it's a great deal for Saints, but we shouldn't kid ourselves that we can get someone in anywhere near his overall ability. Man Utd are paying this money for a very good reason.

 

I want to keep Lovren more than anyone. If he goes to Spurs I will go to his house and take a dump on his doorstep. That is how childish the whole thing makes me.

 

Hopefully was told about a month back Liverpool will be back in for him with 18m. But hope Spurs come in as well.

 

Its going to be hard keeping the happy ones when they see the others leave, that shall be our next problem. Shame there's no interest in Osvaldo, as we can't afford to carry any half arsed players next year.
