For us to achieve a top six finish this season, it will be imperative to beat the teams in the top half of the table, so although not as important to beat PFC, it will be very satisfying to do so, very satisfying indeed.
How about not doing the double over the Skates, but us both reaching the play off final with us beating them on penalties to go up, now that really would be sweet!....

Whilst you are not alone in thinking this (and not just about SFC), I have NEVER understood this sentiment. Why on earth would anyone not want to see their team go up simply because it may be "too early". How can it ever be too early? If you are a division higher, you have a significantly better chance of staying in that division than if you weren't in it in the first place! You can attract better players, you'll get bigger gates and even if you do get relegated, it's a win win these days with the parachute payments (provided you don't have a Woopert to feck it all up).
Frankly I couldn't give a toss about Pompey. There are bigger and better teams that we will need to beat next season.
