If you don't sell one or two youngsters at the right time, they just hold up the conveyor belt. Sad to see him go but good luck to the lad. Big price tag to justify though. Just hope he does not go the same way as Bridge.
I feel disappointed too but I'm not sure with who. I can understand Shaw wanting to leave, I wouldn't want the club to keep an unhappy player and we are (finally) getting the sort of money for our young players that was never the case before. Still just praying that last season wasn't the peak and we won't look back in a few years and say - "remember that season when we had Shaw, Lallana, Lovren, Schneiderlin, Rodriguez Lambert, Chambers etc all in the same team." I really hope we can invest wisely and improve. We are still a club that should be able to attract very very good players.
