    every time we were attacked you see there was zero confidence in the defense, terry and cole in the team and we would still be in it

    Dont think jt ss captain would have made much difference. But having him on the pitch certainly would have. And I hate the guy.

    When are you guys gonna be honest and admit to yourselves that soccer just ain't your bag no more. The USA are stronger in defence, center-field and offence than you guys and even we got beat off Belgium.

    LOL, got to chuckle at the centre field term, give it 5 years and the Yanks will be saying they invented the game.

    But back to the topic, JT would have been far better than Stevie "just head it on to my pal Luis" Gerrard. Time the oboxious scouse git retired
