Kone who plays for Bologna is a Greek international mate, he's quite a big lad, likes to get forward. Not overly excited about that to be honest, looks like more filler if there's owt in it. Had a good season like.

According to the Corriere di Bologna, Sunderland have joined Torino, Lazio and Palermo in the hunt for the attacking midfielder with the report suggesting the club are ready to make an offer of around £3.1m for the 26-year-old. Kone has impressed in the World Cup with Greece as they reached the knockout stage of the tournament for the first time ever but the winger was forced off early on in their last game against Ivory Coast with a slight hamstring injury. The player was also one of few players to emerge with any credit after Bologna were relegated from Serie A. After impressing as captain in his club's unsuccessful fight against relegation and with his stock rising further after good displays at the World Cup, Kone is expected to leave Bologna this summer.
