7 mins · Sunderland are one of four clubs in talks with Norwich over the signing of Robert Snodgrass More...... Sky Sports understands that Norwich City are in talks with four clubs over Robert Snodgrass. The Scotland international has one-year left on his current deal, and has told the club he will not be signing an extension as he wants to be back in the Premier League. Now it is understood that Hull City, Sunderland, West Bromwich Albion and newly promoted Queens Park Rangers are all in talks over a deal for the 26-year-old. It is expected that all four will meet Norwich's terms, and then it will come down where the former Leeds man sees his future. Snodgrass joined Norwich from Leeds in 2012 and has played nearly 100 games for the Canaries, becoming one of their key performers. Very larsson-esque imo However an attack like Johnson - Borini - Snodgrass ----------Wickham--------- Would be appealing

Snodgrass = No from me. Sick of signing players from relegated teams. Moses. What a surprise. Been linked with him since he was eating rusks.
Reported that Hull has had a 6m bid for Snodgrass rejected. He only has a year left. For that sort of money it's a no from me.

Kone who plays for Bologna is a Greek international mate, he's quite a big lad, likes to get forward. Not overly excited about that to be honest, looks like more filler if there's owt in it. Had a good season like.
The club is disappointed to announce that Diego Poyet has indicated to Charlton that he will not be reporting for pre-season training as he wishes to explore his options elsewhere. Charlton had been in discussions with the 19-year-old’s representatives over an extension to his previous deal since early 2014 and offered substantially improved terms in an effort to retain the fan-favourite midfielder. The club had been hopeful of a positive resolution which would have seen the teenager continue his football development in SE7, however Poyet has said he will not play for the Addicks again and is keen to find another club at the soonest opportunity. The club will now look to ensure it receives the best possible amount of compensation from whichever team Poyet chooses to join next to recognise the time and effort spent honing the player’s skills during his time with the academy. Poyet made his senior debut as a substitute in the 3-0 FA Cup third-round replay victory at Oxford United in January before going on to make 23 league and cup appearances last term. He played an important role in helping the club retain its place in the Championship and his contribution was recognised by Addicks supporters, who voted him as their Player of the Year in May. “We are extremely disappointed that Diego has turned down our offer for him to stay with us,” said Charlton Director Katrien Meire. “We did all we could to persuade him to remain with the club where he has played from a very young age. “Along with our fans, I enjoyed watching his progression last season and hoped we would continue to enjoy his development at The Valley for a while longer. Reported Sunderland Target Admits England Move Is 'An Option' http://rokerreport.sbnation.com/2014/6/26/5844426/sunderland-transfer-rumours-midfield-raul-meireles
According to the Corriere di Bologna, Sunderland have joined Torino, Lazio and Palermo in the hunt for the attacking midfielder with the report suggesting the club are ready to make an offer of around £3.1m for the 26-year-old. Kone has impressed in the World Cup with Greece as they reached the knockout stage of the tournament for the first time ever but the winger was forced off early on in their last game against Ivory Coast with a slight hamstring injury. The player was also one of few players to emerge with any credit after Bologna were relegated from Serie A. After impressing as captain in his club's unsuccessful fight against relegation and with his stock rising further after good displays at the World Cup, Kone is expected to leave Bologna this summer. As Hull City have agreed a fee of around £8m for Sunderland target Robert Snodgrass, could Kone be a good but much cheaper alternative to the Scottish international despite his lack of Premier League experience?
