Edit: Editing my joke response as I just noticed in the news he played 2 hours after his father passed away. That took guts. It wasn't public knowledge at the time of the game.

Edited Edit: The official FIFA tweet saying his father died 2 hours before kick-off was slightly inaccurate. He died 10 years before kick-off. And the 'official' account is a parody. **** it.

French showing their lack of heart and passion again I see...Clearly they could do with some of our English steel and fight, which has been so evident over the past week.

That cross... from Pogba. What one earth? Does that even work?

    Swiss being humiliated here.

Cabs, Debuchy and Sissoko representing. At least they'll go far in this tournament.

Cue Moussa just scored. 4 nil and still running his feet into the ground, quality.

SISSOKO! See what happens when you play him in central midfield?

At least the swiss have got some frigging backbone and haven't given up. They've gotten themselves 2 goals. Respect.

Which team's game plan is going perfectly? Which team came closest to scoring? So who exactly is bossing this game?

****ing England. And now my plan B (supporting Italy for family reasons) is not looking so clever either. I actually may end up cheering for the US.

Well as long as Germany doesn't win. That's the main thing.

Pretty much every team I have seen have played with heart and determination, we simply didn't play that way. Costa Rica, Chile, Mexico, hell even Iran played with pride and guts. If we had played Argentina today we would bottled it, lost 3-0 and then said 'Messi was too good , we tried our best, luck wasn't with us, etc'

I haven't enjoyed watching us at all. We don't pass it effectively or retain the ball well. When the latter does occur we have absolutely no idea whatbto do with it. We don't look like a team and have been pretty f**king pathetic. It will be the same in two years time as well.

To play in the World Cup, France or England?

Be quite happy to have most of current England team, they played well and are unfortunate to heading into game 3 with 0 points. That's football. Look at the French side in 2008 and 2010. Sometimes teams don't perform, sometimes they don't get what they deserve.

And I'd bet good money that brummie tw@t knows less about football than the rest.

Honestly, how someone can make a career out of presenting with such an inability to speak is beyond me.

What for having an opinion? I'm not the only one to think regarding sissoko either. In the same way you think we played well this tournament and were unlucky? You know I'm the last person here to extol the virtues of English players so its not exactly kneejerk is it?

Did I say you having an opinion was wrong? I just commented you (and others) were talking a load of ****e based on poor information, just in a more polite manner
