    Poor old Nev.

Like some on here, suffering from ostrichitis- refusing to see the actions of a bully and a liar, continuing to deceive themselves about the big picture and the need to make a stand.

Appeasing the Enemy did us no favour in 38, granted we weren't ready but the shameful dereliction of duty by Nev in pretending 'it wasn't happening' discredited him and all others of his mindset.

Perhaps he thought the swastika was a nice badge?

Or 'It's Adolf's Army he can do what he likes with it'

There's a beautiful irony in you posting something that was ultimately solved by people literally laying their lives on the line to fight something genuinely evil.

If that were to happen again today, no doubt you would be furiously tapping away at your keyboard.

Comparing our owner and the local shenanigans at a local football club to Hitler and Nazi's is frankly so stupid, it's hard to articulate.

If I created such a thread comparing CTWD to them, no doubt it would be closed down faster than your ability to think rationally.

HT, pull your neck in. It was only lighthearted. Calling highly paid sports stars heroes could be considered belittling to people who showed real bravery in wars as well.
BTW it is Nazis. Not everything ending in an s requires an apostrophe.

Tried to be all clever and all he's done is make himself look a right numpton, still credit it to him for not accusing other posters of swallowing semen.

Can the internet have hot air? If so this is it. Not just aimed at supersonic stewey others on these threads too. Very easy to type ****er **** just **** off Allams etc. It seems a lot harder to actually get up off their arses and do something.

The only organised opposition to the name change is CTWD through the dedication and hard work of OLM and others. Yet for all that hard work who attended the FGM? 70 people thats how many. Many of them were the committee. Thats a disgrace for the effort and endeavour of those people.

I've looked down the names and Supersonic Steweys name isnt there. I'm sure PLT will have been there. How many others care to hold their hand up and say they were there? I await some great excuses why not.

But just carry on typing ****er and **** etc. YAWN

I assumed he was comparing you to Chamberlain, rather than Allam to Hitler.

It doesn't say PLT on the list either, but they were both there.

History is now kinder to Chamberlain.

Poor old Nev, as you put it, knew very well that a second war with Germany was inevitable. Germany were armed and prepared but Britain wasn't.

By accepting Hitler's signature on that infamous piece of paper, it bought us a year to re-arm which was crucial - especially for the air battles of 1940.

So, no ostrichitis - just excellent foresight by a Prime Minister that sacrificed his own political career for the good of his country.

    He deserved a ****ing medal.....
