Competition But Mbia was impressive for Sevilla last season, and both Liverpool and Everton are looking to strengthen their midfields; however they will face competition from Inter Milan and the side from Seville according to the newspaper. Mbia, who is likely to win his 50th cap for Cameroon against hosts Brazil next Monday, spent eight years in France with both Rennes and Marseille before moving to QPR in 2012, where he made 29 appearances for the Loftus Road side as they were relegated from the Premier League. Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers was also interested in Rubin Kazanâs French midfielder Yann MâVila, but he turned down a move to Anfield and is in talks with Italian outfit Inter Milan, according to the paper. A player that we paid 6m for and only played one season for us. Now he is leaving on free! No wonder we're in debt
I think he's a better RB than midfielder, he's funny to watch and I don't mean in a good way. I can't believe we paid money for someone and only gave them 2 years yet sign worthless frees and give them four years and then we can't give them away.
Complete liability for us in most games but it was a mad season. If, and it's a huge if, he can play sensibly he is an asset of PL quality.
I just remember vividly his headless chicken tackle in the last minute v Wigan that cost us a hard-earned win, despair just doesn't sum up my feelings when the free-kick went in...
