Saturday 16th August - London Fixtures

Fixtures for Sat 16th August in London:

Arsenal v Crystal Palace
QPR v Hull
West Ham v Tottenham
Charlton v Wigan
Fulham v Millwall

Obviously that many fixtures on one day often occurs in London, but 3 of the 5 are London derbies. Could potentially cause a nightmare for police across all 5 fixtures.

I would imagine 2 would be moved to the Sunday?

 

The fixtures have things like that taken into account, none of them are nasty derbies though.
with so many London teams, its going to be like that every other week.

 

Millwall should have a pleasant day by the river.

 

None of them dirty I wouldn't say that about West Ham V Tottenham they hate each other. Went to a testimonial once at Tottenham between them and there was fights all over the ground.

 

West Ham and Spurs aren't that far apart, northeast and east London plus they both wanted the Olympic Stadium. A lot of bad blood between them...
