The atmosphere at most the matches has been pretty good. When the South American teams are there it's bouncing- Chile tonight, for example.

I'd say atmosphere has been miles better than it was in the 2010 WC.

It's no wonder this & the Iran/ Nigeria atmospheres were crap.

The Croatia manager looks like Bill, the main vampire in Trueblood.

The number 6 for Croatia( Perisic?) also looks like Peter Siddell.

    That is all.

Isn't true blood a teenage girls thing Carmine?

I've decided I'd like to **** club football off and have recurring world cups. Far better having 3 games a day to watch.

    Buffy was **** as well.

    On the buses.

Now that was worth a watch, no vampires mind.

Just a couple of randy old public transport workers sexually harassing any female they ever came into contact with.

One of 'em had teeth like a burnt down fence and hair like wire wool anarl.

    Great TV though.

-Croatia to score next (before red card): check
    -Croatia to win: on track
-Over 2.5 goals in the game: almost!

One more goal, a Croatia win and I'll be happy after the earlier games.

    Jelavic would've scored that...

... by scuffing the shot into the post, which would rebound into the keeper's back and drop in the net.

    They were awful.

Del Bosque got his team wrong & they looked a shadow of themselves.

Chile outplayed them all match & deserved it.

Holland v Chile will be interesting. Loser will probably play Brazil.

Jelavic would have kicked the floor. Or the air. Anything but the bloody ball.
