on our offical website they are gonna release details next wk of a away season ticket! me thinks thats gonna cost abit
So the away season ticket is something you have to buy on top of the home seasn ticket to get a better priority is that right?
not sure cqjack, suppose we will have to wait till next wk to find out.there are so many different scenarios that they could go with.but how can people buy an away season ticket when they dont know as of yet when the games will be played (sun afternoon, mondays etc for skysports)
I'm guessing that it's probably going to be something like joining an away fans scheme at a certain price. Hopefully this will weed out plastics who would go to the glamour clubs but turn their noses up at going to places like West Brom and Blackburn. That way it's the real fans who take precedence and dont miss out on trips to Old Trafford and Anfield because all the plastics have got the tickets.
Will await with interest the way that the club intend to work out this away season ticket scheme. If you work it on a 19 game basis with an average of around £45 per game then the total cost over the season will be around £855. Will the club require fans to purchase the whole amount in advance, will they take a direct debit per month or will they decide to just ask for a one off membership type payment to give priority for tickets to be bought on a match by match basis. Will first chance of these season tickets go to those who have shown loyalty in the past ahead of the newcomers. However they work it it will not please everyone. I do feel that those who have been regular away travellers in recent years should have some sort of priority to start, maybe those who have had a home season ticket at the Liberty for five years and have ticket stubs from last seasons away games should have first chance to purchase these limited away tickets. If it is a case of finding around £800 outright I would get the money together somehow to guarantee I can continue to follow my team to all away games and I know many other regulars who feel the same.
Wolves have an away season ticket, it is something like £200 per season and that gives you priority on away tickets and £10 off each, its not like a home season ticket.
