Don't take any notice of Somb, he's a tosser mate, nobody likes him on here, he's a mag, lives in Peterlee and talks crap most of the time.. Hey Somb, I mean **** face..
I'm not highly strung or humourless and would always defend anyone's right to voice their opinion. What makes me groan is when people mistake repeating ****e like 'Man Ure' or 'Dozy' for humour. It would be funny if you called him Dozy to his face, he might not be the greatest player but I'd bet he could fling a good punch
Hey smug, no slouch, could outrun JOZY with a torn hamstring. This thread needs to die, was never meant to go this way, unintentional He's pulled a hamstring whilst looking ordinary in the game, missed a chance then tore it running for the ball, end of, that's all
Yeah, of shame It never deserved a thread tbh, could have easily been shoved unnoticed on the match thread.
Anyone ever pulled their hamstring? Is it a long healing process?, or does it very much vary? USA boss Jurgen Klinsmann insists he has not given up hope of Sunderland striker Jozy Altidore returning at the World Cup. Altidore suffered a hamstring strain in the first half of Monday night’s win over Ghana which looked to have brought an end to his tournament at the first hurdle. The US medical team are still awaiting results on an MRI scan to ascertain the extent of the damage to Altidore’s hamstring, although he has been all-but ruled out of Sunday’s group clash against Portugal. But Klinsmann remains optimistic that the £7million frontman could still have a further part to play in Brazil. “We’ve got to see how he now reacts the next couple of days with his hamstring and we’re full of hope that he comes back still in the tournament,” said Altidore. “That’s what we’re going to work on every day. The medical staff is doing a tremendous job, so we still have the hope that Jozy will be back. “How quickly, that is down to his healing process.”
That's it right there. Muscle has to fully heal on it's own, and it's all down to how quickly, and efficiently, your body can do it. I remember as a kid it healing in 2-3 weeks. I'm sure there are techniques that can kickstart the process quicker, but I would say his tournament is over.
Depends if it's a pull or a tear fella, he could be back for the knock out stages if he's lucky, if it's a bad one he could be out till Christmas depending on severity of the tear, weather it needs surgery, how the player looks after it, how the physio's look after it. Scan results will help. How's this thread going anyway?
**** knows mate, i havn't got a ****ing clue what half the ****ers are on about these days...I'm sober, maybe that is the problem.
Pretty much my point Little chuckle re post still going on, at least it's about the player again. Agree with the strain or a tear comment
Lets hope he is back sooner rather than later, Klinsman thinks he will play again in this competition so it sounds promising, just hope he is fit for the start of the season.
