    That part ****ing pisses me off, why should any team be away for first and last games. Spurs and Southampton are the same. That's three of us in our office pissed off.

    Good game to kick off with and the best time to play Man utd. Happy with the draw and could have been a lot worse...

    We do always seem to get the short straw when it comes to the fixture list. last year away to Sunderland last game, could they have sent us any further.

    I've noticed 4 of our last 6 are away from home with 2 very hard games Arsenal and Man city and CP away last game. Lets hope we have done enough before then.

    I agree swans got good chance of taking points, I always supported man united when i was a young lad, but the swans is where my heart is!! come on the jacks.

    Well everyone was going on about how we were gonna beat Man United first game last season - look how that turned out. I'd expect nothing but a defeat in what will be Van Gaal's first competitive match at Old Trafford. How well some of you think we will do is based on the assumption that we still have our strongest players at the club. Bony could well be gone, so could Michu and a few others. If we sign averageness like last season then who knows how we will do ?

    The second half of the season looks more difficult than the first. Depending on our squad I reckon we can get 27 points by the end of December and hopefully a less nail biting end to the season.

    Man Utd will surely strengthen this summer and with Van Gaal should be in the title mix again next season. So I can't see us getting anything at their's.

    As pointed out by my mate yesterday it seems recently that we are involved with Man Utd at pinnacle times. Fergusons last game in charge, Moyes first game in charge and now Van Gaal's first game in charge. Hope we do a little better than last season!!
    Fingers crossed Holland go a long way in the WC and RVP will be rested for the first game of the season lol
