Anyone been down to the new seating/garden area on Scale Lance, near the new swing bridge, it looks quite smart... please log in to view this image Photo Martin Fudge - https://www.facebook.com/martinfugephotography
Yes, it's very nice. My girlfriend used to live down a there in Thorncliffe Chambers. All the plants and flowers and lighting make it very pleasant. And the local pubs... Often frequented by the local homeless and their cider bottles mind.
It was weird. We could just see someone's head bobbing up and down. We checked it out and lo and behold, someone was having a good time... it was pretty grim to be honest. Not the sort of scene I'd have filmed on my phone... the screen's already cracked as it is. Last thing I need is for my phone to have the ugly person in the mirror effect and just disintegrate entirely.
Walked through there the other day, it's really nice. Took the missus round the Streetlife museum too, she was surprisingly impressed.
Seen it a few times, very nice indeed. The "living wall" will look great when it's matured. I was once waiting for a lift outside Ringside, near the phone box, when I turned round and suddenly realised there was a bloke rodding some lass in the phone box. ****er had the cheek to give me the "what are you looking at" expression, as if it was perfectly normal to be shagging someone in a brightly lit phone box on a main road. Chavs, eh.
