This is going to be a good exciting game I feel.
    Really looking forward to it.
Too close to call for me but I'll be supporting the Black Stars along with Kwame and Daimungeezer I expect.
Anyone supporting the good ole U S of A?

The ideal scenario is for either Ghana or the USA to win 5-0 in order to put Germany second in the group and wipe the smile off Mullers cheating chops <laugh>

I'd like the USA to win as it'll be good for the game in that country, though I do like the African nations to do well. Pretty neutral really but I think the U.S should win.

I know it's cliche to say Americans can't do football but they have had a pretty decent team the last decade or so

Thats the thing, they are a tidy team. Ranked 13th only, considering England are 10th.

That and plenty of experience in the big leagues, their players have been up against the likes of Lahm, Rooney, Messi and Ronaldo in the domestic leagues. They know what to expect from these superstars.

    Ghana warming up now.

Have Ghana got the best kit of the tournament? Certainly unique.

(Looks like Clint Dempsey's got a broken nose....he's a tough bastard though so no doubt he'll play on)

Bit of an enigma though. Always looks a world beater or completely disinterested.

Final ball for Ghana has been awful.

Dramatic winner for the U.S in the closing minutes. 2-1 final score. <applause>

what a heartbreaker for the Black Stars!
Thought we had done enough to earn a point but our defensive naivety cost us unfortunately.
Still very proud of them, as the youngest side at the tournament, hopefully our players are gaining valuable experience, a very hard lesson learnt today.
Roll on Germany on the weekend!!!

I still think this group is wide open. USA and Ghana are two good sides and it won't be a stroll for Germany.

That late goal ruined a clean sweep of Monday predictions :( I hope both these sides give Germany a run for their money

Well what a travesty that was... USA's second goal was clearly offside. FIFA corrupt? Go and ask that ref, awful display of incompetence.

The USA's first goal should not have stood. Kick off should have been retaken, Ghana were clearly not ready and they started before the ref blew his whistle.

I've seen some poor officiating in this so called "World Cup" (not one team from Antarctica, the fifth-largest continent. Really?!) but how the USA got away with those bully boy tactics I just don't know. At least four USA players should have been red carded, disgraceful.

2 - 1? Eh? A draw surely. Ghana's goal should count double as they're the away side. USA are playing in the Americas! Unbelievable.

If Sepp Blatter doesn't overturn this result and force a replay on neutral territory (I suggest the island U-604, half way in the Atlantic), then I will have no option but to withdraw the services of Eric the psychic tortoise. Ok, he's not made any predictions yet but he's getting there slowly.

Bollocks to the lot of you.
