Apologies for this thread not being World Cup based but ... Just received my confirmation email of Pass Renewal and for the Car Park Pass we have been allocated a Row and Seat(?) Number! Are the Council marking out Car Park Spaces on the Fairground (and presumably marshalling them accordingly on match days)? Anyone in the know or any ideas?
Not sure if you're joking but just to confirm, there's absolutely nothing wrong with posting something not WC related. It's a City board after all. I can't answer your question though I'm afraid.
They need to keep a register of car park pass holders. I would suspect that the easiest way to do this is by linking this to your season ticket / seat. The renewal forms were obviously a merged document using a database of your name, address and seat details. They certainly aren't gonna be marking the car park out as it's HCC land.
I wouldn't bother parking on Walton Street unless you have an hour to spare after the game. Or you want to leave on 70 minutes. The lack of stewarding leaves that place a free for all and Walton Street itself becomes a literal clusterfuck of traffic. I had a car park pass last season and by Christmas I was using the park and ride again.
Never a truer word has been said. The thing is it takes you an age to get off the car park and when you do you think you're home and dry. But no. It takes you even longer to get off Walton Street. I was parking off Boulevard but got my car broken into. I'm a park and rider now as well.
He's got this thing about Kosovans in West Hull. For some reason it's just used generally as a racist term like Paki etc by thick people. A kid I knew when I was little used to say it, I didn't realise it was a country at the time. Thought it was actually something really bad to be.
Have you ever been to west hull? It's like being in Kosovo. And it's the nicest side of the city. I think there's a lot of Scottish in East hull.
