So first game last night with a few Chelsea boys in action (counting Luiz whose deal appears incomplete at this time).

Oscar was by far the stand out player for me involved in all 3 goals and putting in many outstanding crosses from wide - which is weird given he is apparently so **** (accordingly to King Shergar anyway ;)).

Late cameo from Ramires as well and involved in the final goal.

Luiz was well, Luiz. Partly at fault for the own goal.

Fabregas tonight in his first game since signing.

Not sure we will see Cesc in a role that he'll play for us tonight. Did you see his twitter update, says 'central midfielder' for Chelsea and Spain. I think that may be a little hint of where we see him playing for us i.e Franks direct replacement in the middle running things. Hope so.

Should be a good game tonight.

All our players did OK, Oscar standout. Azpi had a difficult time and maybe came second best and Fab hardly got a look in. None had a stinker, and more importantly, none got injured !!

Couldnt give a **** what any of our players do in any other kit than a Chelsea one to be honest.
Spain were terrible defensively. Robben & co tore them apart at the back, especially in the second half.

Didn't see all of it , but Oscars goal was lovely! Holland looked great with Chelsea old boy Arjen Robbin sorting out the Spaniards! <ok>

have to agree - Ramos & Casillas played like they met for the first time. So did Pique & Casillas.
More to do with Casillas than the CB pair.
Shambles is understatement. No wonder Jose sat Casillas a$$.

Robben still got it in big way!!

World cup has shown what Tiki Taka football does to great players.

Robben, Neymar and Sanchex looked great so far when not hinged down by Pep Guardiola's blueprint for football.

Agree with this big time, speed skill and directness tore the ticky tackers apart. Spain CDs too slow for real pace. That said, Holland probably couldn't play better in the next 50 years, nor Spain worse. Next game will show more about Spain. My mob, Australia play Holland, bloody hell !!! We did beat them in Holland last time we played, hope they are not out for revenge as they were against Spain, could be an Ashes score !!
Im in London as it happens, so will have to stay well away from my mates till the games well over. Good luck to England tonight, though if you get done by the Italians, I will be able to see a few of my mates !!

Watched the Ivory Coast - Japan game last night.

Ivory Coast were poor right up until Didier Drogba came on as substitute. Within five minutes Ivory Coast had turned it around and were leading 2-1. Drogba didn't even play part in the goals but there was a massive lift in the spirits of the Ivory Coast team the moment he stepped on to the pitch.
That is the power of the man that he doesn't even need to do anything to get players around him to play better.

And if you're interested to know how our other old boy got on, Kalou was his usual self. Some good moments, no end product.

When you're bored, poke some chavs, you always get some takers. The smart ones (well, all 2 of them) won't rise to the flamebait.

Go on Drogs, come at me.
