Neymar is looking hot for the golden boot methinks... his odds have dropped to 3/1 now... from 10/1.
I also fancy Benzema and Klose as E/W outsiders.

It is fcking scandalous. As if they don't get enough income from TV sponsorship, they have to cram 5 minutes of sh!t online. Can only assume it's run by fcking braindead corporate tw@ts - sell whatever space you can, fck the public, make more money, raa raa.

I love having the excuse of needing to go to the pub all night now.. just to watch it on a big screen.

I genuinely despise Brazil. I had predicted they would get all the important decisions, whilst hoping I was wrong. Well, it turns out I was right.

FIFA will see to it they win the cup.

<yikes> the shocking decisions already today lads <yikes>

You'd have thought we could go at least the first couple of games without hideous errors from referees grabbing the headlines. Dos Santos has scored 2 perfectly good goals there.

Absolutely disgusting work from the linesman. For me there's no excuse for being so poor there.

Agree with this 100%. They need to deflect all criticism away from themselves and justify the crap preparations. Have to ensure crowds keep going and people rioting is minimized.
Refereeing in 1st 2 games is shocking, 2 perfectly good goals disallowed for Mexico. Loved the passion of Mexico team and fans before kick off.

ITV: "Mexico should be in front" "There's no 2 ways about it" - Actually, that's exactly how many ways about it there are!!

Assistant ref should be sacked at half time and a restraining order should be put in place so he can never go near a pitch again. Two absolute howlers.

World's third biggest economy, yet the majority live in or around favelas, while extortion and crime runs riot throughout every system imaginable. Hmmmmm... Maybe this is a truly Brazilian World Cup...

    Hmmmm.... Two-footed tackle by Song?

I forget, would a draw make it easier for Brazil to qualify from the group? <laugh>

World Cup 2014 throwing up more serious questions: Where can I get hold of one of those Mexican gimp masks?

I'm really disappointed for Mexico. Sure, they won in the end, but goal difference could be massively important in this group, as Cameroon look like whipping boys to me. On the other hand, Croatia were seriously wronged against Brazil, so it perhaps evens out a little.

I'm in no doubt this Dutch side would probably thrash us, but it's not a great Dutch team at all, and they're causing Spain some problems. Are the Spanish a bit past it now? While they'll ease into the quarters, they look very beatable.

On a side note, my players of the games so far, Oscar and Dos Santos.

    Other impressions-
    1. Neymar is **** at corners, but Brazil seemed determined to turn him into a legendary talisman.
    2. The European sides seem to be coping with the conditions and different style of play quite well.
    3. There seems to be a mandate by the refs not to book as many players as usual. Certainly lots of definite yellows going unpunished.
    4. The walking pace isn't actually conducive to poor matches. They've all been pretty entertaining so far.
