Don't know whether it is significant but Skybet are not even giving any odds on us getting Lescott, favourites according to them is DQPR for some reason. They still have us as favourites to sign Ince though
Im not a gambling man but the fact that skybet doesnt offer odds on us when we are the only ones to have given him an offer seems stupid. Odds checker which shows all the betting odds has us down as favorites with QPR second. They also have us down as favorites to sign Ince.
So, Ince, Lescott, maybe a new young striker, a left back (any news on Bertrand/Rose?) and a new CM (livermore/Amalfitano etc) Sounds bloody amazing if it all comes off. No idea what our starting Xi would be!
Or they know it's nailed on and he has in fact already signed and they don't want to give free money away if someone seriously cashed up dumps £1M on it.
I suppose that is possible but I think that would be leaked. I cant imagine the club signing Lescott and being able to stop everyone from our office making a call to the media.
We are apparently after someone named Raoul Loé? http://www.express.co.uk/sport/foot...-move-Liverpool-want-Meyer-Kolarov-s-new-deal http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raoul_Loé
Another Stevie May article. If he signs for us he will be a contender for worst hair in the PL. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull...hnstone-goal/story-21226499-detail/story.html Video of his goals
He has a very similar playing style to Fryatt, which can only be a good thing. To those that don't think that the SPL is a good enough level to warrant a PL move, just remember that it's there that the likes of Aluko, Jelavic, Snodgrass and McGregor cut their teeth. If he's available for the right price, I'd get him in.
His positional play looks very good on this video... Good old youtube eh? but he certainly knows when to pull the trigger. (That Elliott guy we got from Motherwell weren't bad either)
Scottish Goalkeepers do know they are allowed to move don't they? The only one who didn't look like a tree is the guy in the 2nd penalty, and he threw himself out of the way! Stevie May (or may not) be worth a look, but the defenders are all ****e.
If that's the quality of strikers who cut their teeth in the spl, Stevie scruff can bloody well stay there. This Vincent aboubakar we've been linked with looks exciting.
Can't argue with that, but he's unlikely to be used in the Prem. I remember mentioning him on here a month or so ago after seeing him play for the U21s against the Dutch. Was a very difficult night for him but he still managed to get on the score sheet with a lovely finish. His stats show that he can obviously finish, 27 this season, 19 in 22 last season and 25 in 33 the year before. The Scottish leagues are known for not being great but the top tier seems to be around League 1 level. He won't be expensive at all, so surely it's worth a punt?
