Since 1975, our kits have been manufactured by various companies of various standing. I'm not convinced some of them even existed. Who's the best? Have a look here if you need help: http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/Hull_City/Hull_City.htm Only allowed 10 in poll, hence SL and OS merged.
Got to be matchwinner. Those stripes were inconic (and brave / hideous). Can''t see adidas doing that now. Interesting how we've gone from nobodies through progressivley bigger name companies i.e. patrick --> umbro --> adidas Who next? Nike? Puma? Or probably back to Admiral (if they still exist)
Diadora for me as its my lucky shirt ..... saying that though i did wear it at man city away for the famous team talk
The Diadora centenary kits are the best I remember, especially the home kit. Felt like cotton rather than nasty cheap stuff, but wasn't too hot and didn't weigh 10 times as much when you wore it in the rain. The away kit was a lot thinner than the home but still didn't feel like the cheap nasty stuff most shirts are made of. They've been consistently poor recently though. Other than the blue Umbro kit from the 2nd PL season thanks to a combination of crap design, not liking pinstripe anything, and poor manufacturing I'm not going to have bought any replica gear (that's 1 in 8 of our kits since getting promoted).
