Will be Brazil or Argentina, but I'm voting Brazil as because they are the only thing stopping people from burning Rio to the ground because of the money spent on the World Cup and Olympics so will get a lot of dodgy decision for them. Seriously, if Brazil gets knocked out the world cup will be cancelled due to the subsequent riots.
Gone for Germany .. on the basis that a European team more likely to win in South America now than ever before and Germany are in the ascendency whereas I think Spain may just have gone past the sell by date ... our defence is excrement hence I can't see us having any realistic chance against teams with clinical finishers ... unfortunately ... looking forward to seeing Belgium, Switzerland and Algeria, all of whom I suspect may surpass expectations ...
Apparently only a projected 3% of England fans think they'll win the tournament and only 44% think we'll make the quarters. I think the second stat is actually harsher than the first - so long as we beat Uruguay we should make the quarters. Nay chance of winning it though. Going with our Gary's pick of Argentina - Messi to finally arrive on the biggest stage of all.
Im in the 56% then, we'll struggle out of the group and most likely get hammered in the KO round. Prove me wong woy, prove me wong...
just heard that Roy says England have learnt from the mistakes of previous world cups and have therefor asked the pilot to keep the engines running think it will be the usual suspects Spain Germany Brazil and the Argies i think that playing at home may hinder brazil. @ thesilverbluefox the phrase is dark donkeys not horses
I hace copyrighted the following headline in anticipation and will sell it to The Sun for a substantial amoount ... "Argie Bargy Nut Crackers' ... Sweet"
