Benny- I was constantly tormented about it by mates. Benny from Abba he was affectionately know as by them. Benny the ball would have been as good. Only one, and that's a Forest fan ever gave me stick about SOD, saying he was glad they got rid of him.

SOD basically had the right idea in his head, it just never seemed to come across anywhere

SOD was given a very big ask when you look into the details,
His work was the foundations for Cotterill to improve.
(We drew too much with SOD which shows that we weren't far off.)

The thing with SOD though is that he had a worse record than McInnes and Millen. Those 2 managed to keep us in the championship. SOD came in, we went down without a fight, the football was terrible but we weren't worried, we sort of knew we were going down so it wasn't a big shock when it happened. We then began life in league 1. Yes I don't think any of us expected to storm the league and win it with ease but we certainly didn't anticipate being in the relegation zone from August to November winning only 2 league games in that time. The football was just the most boring I've ever watched, promised sexy football but we got, pass it around the back 4 then hoof it up the pitch!. There was no passion from him, his interviews were draining and listening to them made you disinterested in what he had to say, he had no connection with the fans which is a very very! important thing to have. He criticised the fans which was just stupid and we went 22 games without a bleedin' win! Too top it off we got knocked out of the JPT by a team who finished 1 place above rovers! The only good thing about a terrible 10 months was the win against Rovers but that was over shadowed by the disaster that was.... Sean O'Driscoll

I also took a lot of stick of some Forest fans, I know a lot of them liked him just not the ones I know.

My vote goes SoD and I don't think I need to write a reason why, I've said enough on the boring twat already. I wanted to see him succeed but he was just irritating saying he don't look at tables etc.

As said Sod was under a brief which did not work out.
Under Benny well that was poor.

Benny every day of the week. He turned us from a promising newly promoted side under John Ward, into an utter shambles who finished rock bottom by a country mile, while Watford who got promoted with us went up to the Prem.
Agree that SOD was pish poor, however the club was in disarray and free fall when he came in, very different to Benny's reign. Very easy to look at the last few managers and pick one of them, but you have to add some context to their time in charge.

Glad SODs getting the vote, if the board didn't act quickly (which they get no credit for) then we'd be in league 2.
