Totally agree, sad to see him go and I admire him as he could have easily sat on the bench of an EPL club
Jelavic, for all his energy, wasn't that great on goal. He was best with headers but he really has to improve and the start of next season will be telling now that we are looking to put most of our hopes on him. How things pan out for Fryatt in the future we'll just have to wait and see but I would have preferred keeping him. He was hungry to play and you need that competition in the squad to have consistency.
My faves were the hat trick against Scunny. Mainly because it was on my birthday. I sort of miss those matches. But at the same time I laugh and remember how much better it is when Scunthorpe are in League One while we are in the Prem.
Rick ‏@HullCityLive Just heard Matty Fryatt received all the tweets from #hcafc fans. He was "unbelievably touched" but sad too.
Club just posted this: After seeing and reading the many messages of good will and best wishes following his move to Nottingham Forest, Matty Fryatt has asked us to pass on the following message to you: 'I was quite sad reading through them all if I'm honest. The most surprising thing was the number of them, I didn't think there'd be so many. I was unbelievably touched as I read through each message. 'I'll look back on my time with nothing but fond memories of the fans, I really enjoyed every minute playing in front of them. Thank you'
