Weirdest place was probably on some market stalls in the middle of my town, or in a nightclub in Zante!?! I'll leave interesting places where I may or may not have had Ugandan relations to others, but as for Smithy returning, it's a no brainer. Did he want to leave? No. 5 yrs later, does it really matter that he went to ManUre? No, because I recall that he gave us his signing on fee. Injuries aside, could he still do a job for us & get us out of the Championship? I believe so. Could we get a couple of seasons out of him as a minimum? Probably/possibly, only time would tell. Any other football-related reason why we should sign him if a deal on finances could be done? Not as far as I can see
OK SWW, here goes.... Wierdest place, on the floor of a shoe shop in Croydon High Street. My missus was the manager at the time and I went to meet her after work. After she'd locked up and turned out all the lights she opened her coat to reveal what she was wearing....i.e not very much. She then jumped on top of me among the racks of discounted loafers. We could hear (and see !) people walking past as we went at it full pelt. Luckily no-one stopped to do any window shopping on their way home.
