Ah shur you know yourself Shaks, soon enough, just like the yanks, they'll be all claiming Irish roots
The majority of us got excited by Warnock and McDermott, and look how that panned out... If he's a respected coach with experience of playing attacking football with younger players, it can't be any worse than the previous two we've had!
Exactly Kiwi, every coach/manager who joins the club should be given a chance, but he can only do so much with the ****e we have...
Afternoon all - On the manager front hardly inspiring but did we honestly expect a big name man to take charge? We nearly all wanted Warnock and we all wanted McDermott and it was two of our worst ever seasons so I also think we should give the new man a chance, if results continue as they did under McD he won't be around by the end of the season, he will be cheap and on a short contract so won't cost us much to kiss goodbye. Cellino has made it clear that he is doing the purchasing when it comes to new players. We already have Carbone at the club who is working with the youth set up so let's see.
I didn't want to get rid of Grayson who I argued was the second best manager we have had but I'm all for giving this new man a chance lest face it Rodgers was an unknown when Reading appointed him.i hope he brings some exciting talent with him
Dolan could be a very savvy appointment. When I was talking about the difference between people like Hockaday and promising young coaches Dolan was the kind of candidate I was thinking about. Reading practically worship the guy, plenty of their fans would have liked to see him get the manager's job there, and he has a great reputation within the game (leeds60 mentioned Brendan Rodgers, and his reputation's similar to his). Supposedly he likes to play possession based, attacking football, and clearly he works well with youngsters. If Cellino gives him a proper shot I'm optimistic.
It's not finalised yet as Cellino's been in Italy working on the sale of Cagliari. Which is what anyone who'd done any research into Cellino's ownership record was trying to tell people, but that discussion's gone now I suppose.
Winding up order to be heard at two oc clock and expected to last an hour. TC and Mighty must be pissing themselves with excitement, sitting at their keyboards hoping for a negative outcome
as there doesnt seem to be any proof of how Haigh got the money he loaned Leeds cant see how anybody can rule its dirty or frauded money yet think the result will be pay up Celino to stop the winding up order and fight for your money back when Haigh is released at a later date if ever If its just postponed to a later date and your accounts remain frozen it will spell disaster for Leeds Utd. The real problem is between Haigh and GFH and Cellino and GFH not Cellino and Haigh
So I was right, you lads are hovering around waiting for the outcome. Quelle surprise as dell boy would say
