Looking at the pricing for this game at £14 for an adult I think its abit steep for the first round. If my memory is any good I think its was 5/10 for the previous 2 years and i cant see a very good turnout for this fixture

    your thoughts

I'll be there as I'm most likely a concession, but agreed it's a bit steep for adults.

Should have been £10 adults and £5 everyone else to get numbers in.

Prices have not change in comparison to last season .... <doh>

First couple of rounds never do get masses of interest due to the opposition we get drawn too

£14 is average price , get over it!!!

They do..your certainly correct but would need to give a valid reason for price reduction...

Only way it would be reduced would be if they could guarentee to sell allocation which is doubtful so dont expect it to go any lower than £14

Bournemouth tickets were more expensive if anything last year as I think mine were £12.

It is not only the teams that have a say in pricing of tickets it is also the competition itself. While I agree they do not set a lower limit in the early rounds I believe there to be an upper limit.(Not sure if this is a rule or a guideline) Usually the teams will agree a charge. If they don't the organisers set the charge (which is usually an average)

I think there will be a reasonable turnout as it's early in the season and we're all bursting for some football. Price is about what I'd expect..though lower would be nice. It could be an important game as we need to get a winning mentality for what is a tough league. So let's get behind them.

half the price of a league match, doesn't sound too bad really. Obviously it would be great if it was cheaper, but it seems fair enough really

The higher we go up the league the higher the ticket prices will be, that is a sound economic strategy as the club will have to spend more on players, wages etc to maintain a higher position. We are a Championship club, the fans should pay Championship prices.
