I think this has been mentioned before. Liverpool won the league in 1966 though, not Man City.

The main issue with England winning the Wordl Cup again and especially in Brazil is a simple one with 2 big issues.

    1) A clueless manager

    2) A lack of talent where it matters most.

With regards to your second point, I didn't think Brazil did in '02 or Italy in '06. Both were poor & were lucky to even get to the Final, let alone win it.
Point 1 is heavily linked to point 2, there's only so much you can do with certain players. I'd still prefer RH over Cappelo & Sven!

    Bloody good year '66.
    Other happy events were:

    1) City promoted as champions of Division 3...69 points out of available 92, 4 ahead of Millwall. (2 points for a win,).
    109 league goals scored (Wagstaff 27, Chilton 25,Houghton 22, Butler 13, Henderson 13). 100 goals between 'em.
    2) TWS didn't win the old First Division (second to Liverpool).
    3) TWS knocked out of the Inter Cities Fairs Cup in a semi-final replay against Real Zaragoza after the 2-legged semifinal stalemate .
City play in the Uefa League in 2014 - the replacement competition for ICFC.
    4) Barcelona beat Real Zaragoza 4-3 in the all-Spanish ICFC two legged final.
    5) England win the W.C.

2014. Hull City in Europe, NOT TWS. Hull City in top division, NOT TWS.
.................. England do not win W.C.

    We gotta be thankful nevertheless.

Which one? Brazil should have lost to Belgium in an earlier round & Italy struggled against the Aussies again in an earlier round with a dodgy penalty. All irrelevant yes but neither side were the best teams in either tournament.
'94 is another year where the Final was poor, again Brazil & Italy were not the best teams to play or to watch.

    Italy were monsters !

England are woeful and lacking in any creativity ,England is as stereotypical as ever in its football & its been a problem for England since the dawn of time .
Proven by all our "exciting " players cause hard ons if they have the temerity to cut inside from the wing !
If an England player Steps over the ball , i have to shield my eyes from the cum dripping from the telly screen.

I think that's balls. Surely you can see the difference between the current team with the likes of Barkley, Sterling, Sturridge etc. with their agility and the team from 2 years ago where we had people like Carroll, Parker, Young, etc.

I was not happy with all 3 of them. Sven was a joke but after Sven and Wally we needed someone like Capello. But between Harry and Woy it had to be Harry for the good of England. Sadly who else do we have that could be considered as an England manager ? We have had very little choice / good enough managers since Terry Venables. This is an area that Dick Van Dyke at the FA needs to be looking into not stupid B teams ffs.

Maybe or could he be linked to the Russian mafia ?
