I would agree. He always said he'd go. I don't doubt that the massive salary carrot dangled in front of him helped, to overcome the danger of being sacked 5 minutes after the first game of the season starts, but I think his mind was made up the day NC left. I'm not at all happy with him for seeing that there was a better opportunity at Spurs, but reality says it would be less hard work for more money. And from his perspective, his remaining no longer made sense, as he always said. So when we lost NC, we lost our two biggest assets, with maybe a few more to go. High price being paid, in my opinion. I hope we can get back on course.
I was just about to move this from the "Has work started..." thread but you've beaten me to it! I'll delete it from that one to keep things tidy.

The rule says that something becomes true if is repeated enough times in the media and on t'internet (unless it is bad news).
Hope they hurry up - just below that piece they mention a West Ham £3m bid for Kolodziejcak - that would be a stellar deal and would be a shame to miss out on players of that ilk whilst we continue talks.....
The odds of me going out on my motorbike today have reduced from a definite Yes to a probable No. I'm ashamed of myself.
5/1 means jack **** in odds. That just means money has been put on Sherwood. Also I said before bookies cut odds to make it look like money is being placed so more people bet on that person. It's so they cut the losses they will get on the winner.
