Excellent gesture Mrs Blue Mountain Bear, thank you.

The charitable idea is spot on; how about Dove House Hospice? Perhaps Mrs Blue Mountain Bear could be asked to select a suitable cause? I followed up on my pledge to Macmillan Nurses, as I got my tickets FOC, they did better than originally intended. I'll be happy to follow the spontaneity of this kind gesture by fellow NOT606 members.

In a day already filled with commemorating honourable actions, I think this would be an excellent move and one which I will fully support.

I'll also contribute £50, but if someone is willing to swap and get me out of having ****ing Greece, I'll make it £100. <laugh>

I'm happy to contribute to whatever charity the winner and Mrs BMB decide upon. Just post the details on here when you've figured it out.

No real reason for me to be involved in any charity choice as we have the 3 winners to determine that. Just glad to see the contribution of the other co-sponsors and see the total grow upwards of 400 pounds. I devote a fair bit of my time to fund- raising for local charities so lovely to experience the generosity on here.

I know everyone's in a charitable spirit here and that's great – but giving up Belgium in return for Greece is taking it too far.

Its great to see so many not606HullCity posters willing to contribute their potential prize money as well as adding extra donations to charity. I will join those by pledging $80 to the good cause.

The fact that, as we fans of the game enjoy the spectacle of the World Cup, there are so many who for various reasons may be in situations beyond their control which may prevent them from concentrating on or enjoying the W.C. to the fullest.

As we are getting close to the big event, I propose that we pick up on Fez's suggestion of "Dove House Hospice" as the chosen charity. It's based in Hull and seems a logical choice for not606HCAFC members and more importantly a very worthy cause.
It seems very simple to administer our collective donations too (see link below). Credit card or cheque payments can be made by each individual to the charity. I'm sure we can individually mention not606 Hull City when sending in payment.

Many thanks to Mrs_Blue_Mountain_Bear for kicking off this drive, and to all participants & contributers. Best wishes to your hubby too Mrs B_M_B.

I agree with all the charity stuff, completely for it, fantastic idea, but i'm sorry, but swapping teams just makes the whole sweepstake idea obsolete.
