    is now even richer.

I'd love to see one of the executive strategy sessions with john henry.... i'd say it is pure hedonism

He's still got to persuade Suarez to stay again... then we can talk about promotion. Wonder what his salary package is like?

Transfers aside- he has worked wonders for the club on a financial level.

  5. Again? I'm sure it was Henry's refusal to sell last time <laugh>

  7. I know, I saw it. However, Henry was the one that said no.

I would imagine Ayre was heavily involved.

Fair play to Ayre - the club is in a good place at the moment, finishing 2nd last season, CL football next season, young squad and manager, improved revenues, more sponsorship deals, no controversy on or off the pitch.

So what does this mean in terms of his role now?

I know Ian Ayre is a scouser and he is a massive Liverpool fan but I really don't rate him. The jan 2013 was a good window but summer 2013 (outside of keeping Suarez) & jan 2014 were disastrous - to the point many fans thought we could lose out on CL football

Can't be all his fault, that was our only decent window since signing Torres in Summer 2007. Ian Ayre wasn't involved until, hang on let me look it up......2007. Oh ****
