Would have preferred a younger version of the one on the left in the second picture. Looks as though he may have been a decent player.

I hope Perez is able to point out where 'the line' is for all of the other players that have been linked with a move to SJP.

You can just make it out in the 1st photo behind him, and again in the 2nd one just to next to pedro's leg.

So there we have it folks...it does exist afterall !

With Perez, it doesn't really cut it. Seems like a LOT of coverage for clearly a developing player, unless Pedro is the boss all of a sudden.

World class signing..................ok maybe not but if its a permanent signing, this is big news. I'd forgotten what one of those was.

Magpies Confirm Ayoze Arrival

Newcastle United are pleased to confirm the signing of Ayoze Pérez from CD Tenerife on a long-term contract.
The 20-year-old striker was born in Santa Cruz, Tenerife, on 23rd July 1993 and joined the youth set up at his local club in 2004.
Last season, Ayoze - as he is known - progressed to the first team, playing in the Segunda Division, Spain's second tier. He enjoyed a prolific season for the Chicharreros, scoring 16 goals in 34 appearances.

Ayoze told nufcTV: "I'm very happy to be here to start this new adventure.
"I'm very eager for it to begin and I'm very pleased to play for this magnificent Club.
"Any football player would be interested in playing for such a Club and I will earn my position to get in the first team."

One down, two to go... I mean come.

Is he worthy of wearing the #26 shirt so famously worn by Peter Ramage?

Yes, but what's he going to be like on a cold December night at S****horpe in the Cup. That's the real test of quality.

<cheers>

Oh, hang on........

Sorry I forgot the Club don't care about the cups.

He'll just play on Mbiwa every session and Pards will think he's the next Alan Shearer.

The Express are reporting that Tom Ince has declined a possible move to Inter, which leaves him the choice of Spurs, Everton, or us.

Personally, I'm expecting him to pick Everton but would love to see him here.

Would like Ince, he is the type of player fans would take. Pretty lazy (and has admitted it) but very entertaining. His workrate has got better. You can't be a luxury player anymore, it just doesn't exist in modern football.
