Does make you wonder when we signed the likes of Fredgard and Nunez???

I tell who else were great signings: Gavin McCann (500k I think) Eric Roy (free) but those guys were brilliant for us when needed.

Eric Roy was one of our best signings as was Alex Rae, you lot were probably kids back in 1999-2002 but for us poor ****ers that had spent £1000's following the team over the years it was the cream on our cake. Gavin McCann started with the right attitude but left a bad taste in my mouth when we were relegated and I was glad to see him **** off..

I loved Alex Rae Joe, committed as ****.
Was gutted when he went back to Glasgow, although to be fair to him, Rangers was his boyhood team.

I was about 19/20 then so had just started to go to the games on my own (200 mile drive in a mini 850 was interesting).

Alex Rae is a top bloke I spoke to him briefly before the cup final, he reminds me of Jason Stathem playing The Monk..... hard as fook.

Hutchison was also good signings, its a shame Hutch did not stay, he effectively ended his career when he left us. Who also remembers Burnt Hass and Stan Varga?

I was 40 in 2002 and had many, many, crap seasons under my belt by then. But Reidy's halcyon days went a long way to make up for some of the crap we had to endure. Gullitt dropping She-Ra for the derby and then watching us beat the mags 2-1 was probably the funniest thing ever :)

    ****ing beautiful this is.
I wanted to call my lad Kevin Phillip but his mam wouldn't let me.
I saw him be born & we settled on Niall Thomas after Quinny & Sorenson.
Two men who served our club well.
There was a lad at the factory who said to me, 'what kind of arsehole names his kid after a footballer?'
I replied with, 'I didn't you thick mag ****, I called him after a river in Egypt.'

I imagine we can all remember Tommy's pen save against biscuit heed?
Tried to find it on you tube but couldn't.
However, I'll never forget the look on Shearer's face that day.
    A picture's worth a thousand words.
