I don't have a problem with letting Adz go, If you were in his position being offered more money (maybe doubled or more) and a chance to get medals and European football would you jump ship?

SFC must be compensated properly tho, for every first team player we produce there would have been loads of kids not making the grade, I aint got a clue about the running cost of the academy but if he goes then it must cover a good part of the cost of the Academy and the cost of replacing him as a minimum.

I think theres a load of spin going on somewhere, someone is trying to turn saints fans against him, who stands to benefit the most from this move?
I heard a rumour last November or so the Liverpool where making enquires about Lallana (around the time of his England debut)
He has been down and up with Saints, I want him to stay but I wont suddenly hate him for being at another team.

 

So you are saying Blackmore is being fed lies by Lallana's agent? I thought Blackmore said Adam had told him it himself?

 

No, i'm not trying to point the finger at anyone, just feel before people jump on Adam we should try to look at the bigger picture.

 

Liverpool fans starting to think he's a greedy bugger too now. They can't understand why he does not resolve this by putting in a transfer request. They're going off him before he's even got there!

He is a v good player, but he doesn't play in a position that should be a priority for us to strengthen and, as such, is worth more to you than he is to us..

The board has remained mum on Shaw, Lovren, Schneiderlin, and everyone else linked with a move. And no one suspected the Lambert deal until it was basically done. That tells me the board isn't leaking information. And while there's been a lot of speculation that Shaw in particular wants to move (which is probably true, and understandable for the same reasons Lallana would want to go) we're not getting the same amount of info. about Shaw's state of mind.

So pretty much yeah, it's Lallana. Lallana might not be a bad guy, but he (or his agents) overplayed their hand. He thought that because of NC leaving and the anti-board sentiment floating around at the time that the fans would be on his side. But the press leaks only served to unite the fans against him.
