Let the speculation begin. When it says "Young" player does it mean youth or young first teamer? My money is on Lockyer and if a premier league club are sniffing how much longer do we hold out for, and if unknown player wants to leave then how about selling on condition that we are allowed to loan him free of cost for the season.

I agree, it says on official site "And the club have turned down a bid from a Premier League club for a young pro."

Also says that he will fight to keep the players he wants at the club. Back to the good ol' days of no sale. hope so as we need to build a team to get out of the Conference and progress up the leagues

Trouble is that as we've seen with the likes of Carayol as soon as a players head is turned you cant do a lot to keep them, even under contract, and who wants an unhappy players disrupting the dressing room?

Even Shaq Hunter went downhill as soon as he started believing the rumours of him attracting premiership attention

Unfortunately 'No Sell' was linked with 'No Buy'

I should imagine unless silly money is being offered then it should be no every time especially as we have earned £500K + for Lambert sale and JJOT off the books which should free up a lump of cash along with the departures of 12 players and the backroom lads there should be enough wiggle room for new players and contact negotiations. But I'm sure most of the saving will go to reduce the legal deficit from the Trash battle.

Perhaps DC could point out the Sinclair debacle. Poached by Chelsea got maybe 1 game, loaned out to all in sundry then offloaded and a career of obscurity within premier and championship sides mainly warming the bench. Whilst wait here for a few years get plenty of real match time and learn your trade properly....but money from the big boys talks and if you were offered £20,000 a week for sitting on a bench or in the stands you and I would snap their hand off too, I'm sure.

Evil Post says it's Santos who is out of contract and hull are interested. If its between Santos and Lockyer, let him go

santos is indeed out of contract. if we didnt offer him a new contract then hull or any other team could negotiate with him without paying us a fee. but because we have offered him a new contract, even if he rejects the new contract, hull or any other team would have to pay a fee. if hull have offered a fee but fee amount rejected then hull needs to decide either...

1, not to show anymore interest
    or
2, make a new improved offer
    or
3, refuse to improve the offer and want to take it to a tribunal who will decide the fee amount that hull would have to pay.

over to you hull. whats your next move?

Hull would be mad to sign Santos IMO. He doesn't even cut it in L2, let alone the Premier League
