Looking at the threat below I am not sure its just the fact he's left per say but that fact Dyer has joined us which seems to be the problem! http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/topic/95210-lloyd-dyer-to-watford/page-7 Still no love loss despite the fact they did have the last laugh (for now) In between the "banter" it seems like you say there is genuine disappointment but has his weakness. Its interesting Dyer rejected a new contract - probably be earning less with us so went for the 3 year deal over a one year fling in the Premier league (or sitting in the stands)
http://www.watfordfc.com/news/article/140524-heurelho-gomes-signs-for-watford-1571831.aspx So Gomes is the man to succeed Manuel. A little underwhelmed by this, on the face of it it seems like my kind of transfer on Football manager where I go to a premiership club and buy any out of contract player without knowing much about them. He hasnt played a great deal lately after breaking a bone in his hand and he did make a number of mistakes which led to Spurs fans losing faith in him a fair bit.
But he has been a good keeper at the top level and at only 33 is not old in goalkeeping terms - tend to feel he is in the mold Almunia was when he came to us and I don't regret that
I honestly think Gomes could be an inspired signing. He's a top shot-stopper. And what keeper doesn't have a clanger from time to time ?
Sounds like the end of Manu then...do seem to remember Gomes howlers at Spurs but I guess Arsenal fans would have said the same about Almunia.
Exactly - and let's face it he is not boing to be up against quite hte same levelof opposition as he faced at Spurs - Spurs fans were mostly supportive of him before Loris became established
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5APIFXlFhHY I'm not sure that these examples have much to do with the class of the opposition...
Looks like a good prospect http://www.standard.co.uk/news/lond...way-from-war-child-to-watford-fc-9444494.html
I prefer to be glass half full rather than negative.. what about these YouTube posts instead http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=onsjJ1a_Wvk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLwvxT_nscU And the fact he made 129 Appearances for PSV Eindhoven and 97 for Spurs as well as 11 for Brazil? There is no doubt some of the calamities are cringeworthy, but I recall Ray Clemence making a few, and Gary Sprake was renowned for them, both good keepers. And Ben Foster made a few howlers as well, but would still love him in goal for us!

But the similarities to Udinese's kit will have the idiots going crazy again about us being Udinese B
