Diego isn't stupid.... he knows exactly the way the club is heading.... sadly so do most supporters ..... I can see RD being another Lee Joon-Seok and leaving the fans to pick up the pieces.
Could be a handy squad player if cheap. Wouldn't want to pay more than a nominal fee for him though. Can't see him moving south, though. Talking about a real footballer, Wikipedia says Kermorgant was "capped" for Brittany last year while with Charlton. I don't remember anything about that, Does anyone else? I assume it was outside the League season?
According to another forum O Grady was talking to the Club on Thursday, but the sticking point seems to be that he doesn't want to move South. Blackburn and Ipswich also interested.
I think we all know that we will not get O Grady.... can't help feeling that the Club knew this as well but they probably felt that the rumour would keep the fans quiet for a while
If there is competition for his services we'll lose out, that's what we do. We'll either end up with players no-one else wants, like Sordell and Church, or more Eurotrash. Hope I'm wrong.

Agree with this. Timing of the leak coincided with Katrien (who was on holiday) taking flak about Riga/Peeters/Hamer etc. it was a dirty New Labour spin trick. Had a look at the Barnley and Huddersfield boards and it is clear the boy doesn't want to move South based on what he has said in the past. I am 'guessing' that Charlton knows this.
