F Hall & Son, Sewells, Keepmoat, Manor Properties and many others over the years. If the City Council want partners to develop Walton Street they'll find them, especially if it includes Leisure facilities that will continue to receive funding from the Council Tax payer.
It cost millions to put a bid together just to join in the discussions with the Council on some projects. Several companies spent the money in the sure knowledge, only one would be successful.
So you would like the Council to just GIVE the stadium to Allam. I certainly would not vote for that even though I think they are pretty ****e
So the council need someone to help them develop the area, but they've managed to **** off the most likely person, and the most capable. They also have a line of other suitors ready to step in because, they haven't actually been sitting on their arses laughing at the suckers who keep them in "jobs"? No SW, what we would like is for HCC to do SOMETHING with the ****ing stadium and surrounding area, before it's too late. We also don't think anyone is stupid enough to step in, take all the risk, front up all the cost and get the least amount of benefit from it. To the club, and to the majority of us I hope, the KC is a major asset and hugely important to us. To the ****s on HCC it's a bargaining chip they just like toying with, without giving 1 single **** about it or its potential.
Who's bargaining chip ? there's a question. " To the club the KC is a major asset " So would it not be better to talk to the landlord. Do you not think the HCC need Hull City to use the stadium, more than Mr Allam need's to keep his football team there. He has already threatened to walk away and build a new ground in Melton, could we end up like Coventry ? ground sharing with Scunthorpe, Grimsby or Doncaster
He would not consider building a stadium at Melton. It would be a disaster as well as costing about £80 million
i dont know what it is but my bullshit detector tells me these people "in the know" , know **** on here about the councils plans .
