See what you mean, but it probably has more to do with the balance of the photo. I think it's sheer coincidence that OXO lined up between Lambert and Shaw. Of course, Lallana could have been swapped, so as to stand top-left, and therefore be behind his familiar crew.

Oh look, Adam was there all along. I tell you, you look at things and see something, and then you put on a pair of specs and see something else. Aren't they all chummy, eh..?

Rooney getting a lot of stick on BBC. Can't understand why? We played a different formation against Peru and blending together will take time. I thought Rooney and Sturridge looked like they could play together quite well. Welbeck on the other hand looked totally out of sink with everyone else. Weak on the ball and lost it quite a few times. Would like to see either Barkley or sterling play in his position. Other than that, Henderson will be battling wilshere for the role next to gerrard. Shame there isn't anyone to take Johnsons place.

Problem is that there are too many England first team players who have a poor first touch and are not technically great, Southampton's academy players are quite good. I mean look at Jones - he is strong and quick but he is technically poor and cannot pass!

So who do people think are going to win the tournament. I have stated that I don't think anyone but Brazil have a chance (the home team always gets favours) but people complain I am cynical. The only other contender I see is Argentina.

    Any thoughts?

Brazil have it pretty tricky right from the start. They have to not mess up against Croatia and Mexico, and then they get Spain, Chile or Holland, and they could easily be beaten by any of those. I think there is a high chance of them not making it past the second round. If they do, it'll be because they're the real deal and they're probably going all the way.

I can see Argentina doing it and making the whole of Brazil cry. A Brazil v Argentina final in Brazil would probably one of the most incredible games ever. I'm also not looking past Italy. Germany should have a good tournament. Spain is one I can see doing surprisingly poorly. France actually look very scary.

Actually what I'm going to do is predict the semis now:

    Brazil v Italy
    Argentina v France

I'd imagine the heat will be the undoing of a lot of teams, maybe Spain if any European team can do it.
