Spot on. Ideally we need someone better at going forward than Simpson is, but we need cover for him at least as of now if Ned will start at CB.

 

Glen Johnson is a very good player but not at £120.000 a week.

 

We have Harriman who could cover for Simpson, especially in the Cup competitions.

 

Plus we must be focussing on our weak points not adding for the sake of it.

Danny will do just fine in the EPL

 

Redknapp has obviously been told he can't sign anyone in their 30s so is going for 29 yo now!

 

£120,000 a week???!!!! I might be tempted for half that. Whilst we do need cover for Simpson, it's hardly a priority to bring in such an established, expensive player where we already have a perfectly reasonable player in the team.

 

I don't rate Johnson. I would much rather we went for a promising youngster like JAMES TAVERNIER, very impressed with him recently and would probably be available.

 

Glen Johnson is, imo, at least twice as good as Simpson (who I like). But not on 120k a week. We must learn!!
