    More than anything, this reinforces my conviction that this team needs to be sold. It should have been sold months ago; it's probably too late to mitigate the damage we're facing this summer. But it's essential if we're to bounce back.

    What annoys me most is why we are so willing to sell, and almost instantly if the buyer meets the right price. Fair enough if they come in with a £30+ million pound deal for Shaw, but to basically say "come and get our best assets, meet our lowest valuation and he's gone" attitude is a complete disgrace.

    there's an argument for that. If the existing first team are indoctrinated to this degree. it maybe makes sense to slash and burn.

    the prices shouldn't be cut though.

    Yeah the only other conclusion I can reach is...


    Step 1 - Sell the assets
    Step 2 - Bank the cash as much as possible
    Step 3 - List the club at a knock-down price
    Step 4 - Tempt new buyers into the market
    Step 5 - Sell to the first serious buyer


    Hopefully I'm wrong but they're showing very little resistance to any attempts to buy our players, at least in the public spotlight.

    Perhaps I am wrong and they'll pump loads of money towards our new 'high-calibre' manager.
