Good evening gentlemen and welcome back to the Championship - exactly where we said you would be at this time. For what it is worth before you simply slag me off let me say I have no expectations for Watford next year unless we ditch our current manager - which does not look likely at present. Why your owner got rid of Malky the rest of football will never know - you would still be in the Premiership if he had stayed. Do you know how hard it is to get straight back into the Prem - I think QPR - who only managed it through the play offs are only the third team to do it in over 20 years so keep your hopes in check. They were firm bookies favourites. Will you be able to keep hold of most of the players you want as that is a crucial factor. Anyway - good luck - and I hope a new owner buys out Tan and returns you to your true blue colours - you do not look right in red.
I think Cardiff will finish first in the Championship by a half a dozen points at least ... certainly not because I want them to , but because of Ole and his connections and a full season under his direction.. time will tell .
i bet you're looking forward to seeing your star players next year playing for liverpool i know i will so is that down to league 1 again or will you visit pompey?
I don't think this dimwit deserves a ban just because he's thick, he believes all our players are Welsh and he probably thinks all his clubs' staff are English ....... apart from the ones from................. Spain Argentina Kenya France Uruguay Brazil Northern Ireland Japan Croatia Netherlands USA Poland Maybe they should all go back and play in their' national leagues ? .... Jaytab... you are a very unimportant person .
God, is it let the window lickers use a computer day? Leonardo, your post confirms one thing. You know f**k all about f**k all so stay on your own board and keep yourself to yourself.
Let me get this right. A Leeds fan taking the pi$$ out of us? Paid your players yet? Oh, someone stop me laughing, my sides are hurting!!!
I agree with that but the teams that have managed in recent seasons have tended to have a few things in common. Newcastle, Brom, w ham and qpr all had financial stability and invested in players to get straight back rather than trusting a demoralised squad to bounce back. The other thing that I think will start to reverse that trend is the massively widening gap in finances. We earned the same as the champions Man U for finishing bottom. That has to be an advantage. Both Wigan and qpr were top 6. I expect Norwich and us to achieve that. Whether any of the 3 relegated sides will succeed and actually cross the line is another matter. As an aside you say QPR only managed via the playoffs, they were sort of lucky in the final but Zamora on the bench got them their PL place back. I've got respect for any playoff winners we know better than anyone how hard it is to get to the pl via them!!
I'd like to see cardiff do well but to be honest i cant see anything better than mid table under OGS if that, He needs a good defence coach that he must listen too and recruit some good defenders as he dont have a clue about organizing the back 4...Just my personal view..
f**k off leonardo. you dress up your post to look nice but put in a few barbed comments, so you should reasonably expect hostile replies. your club is a joke, i'd rather our setup rather than yours which is for the benefit of other clubs and your owner. TC? millwall fan? keep to banter and you'll have no problems hereâ¦â¦
He's not the Messiah. He's just a very naughty boy. Leeds??? My sides are still hurting with laughter.
Wolves look good under Kenny jackett and it would not surprise me to see them get back to back promotions, wigan will be up there again, In fact you can make a case for a dozen teams including cardiff if they can sort out their defence....
Dai - please don't spoil it for me pal. I suggested Wolves for possible auto in my OP, and certainly a playoff spot. You agreeing with me makes me seriously doubt my judgement........
Morning Sparkey. Could get a tad confusing if you start voicing opinions just to oppose Dai, especially as his views change with the wind. As usual we'll be in a tough league to get out of and Leicester will be in a tough league to stay in. Looking at our current signings I feel encouraged and feel we'll get a play off spot at least. There are a lot of players we need to move on to get the squad to a manageable and meaningful number. The age balance is starting to look a lot better with a great deal of experience and youth mixed in. I said elsewhere, two players for every position, a few utility players and a couple youngsters is what we want. From a coaching side, we need OGS to keep away from the tinkerman school of management. A solid plan A with some options to change things if plan A isn't working. So far he's had plans B to K with no plan A Looking forward to a few more summer signings and the rollercoaster starting all over again. A couple more wide men to replace Bellamy and Zaha a defensive mid to replace Medel and a change at CB. Wouldn't be unhappy to see both Turner and Hudson move on but if we were to keep one, Huds would be my choice.
