    Well, that was total ****e. I can`t understand why we stuck with the same midfield for so long, i can only think it was to make sure the centre halfs and the keeper got plenty of passes (pity the strikers didn`t get any though). Once Rooney, Gerrard and Lallana went off the we started to move the ball forward much faster and even looked threatening on a few occasions. Sturridge MOTM for one decent strikers shot, the person who picked him must have missed the fact there were any Peru players on the pitch. Johnson should never, ever be allowed on a football pitch at any level where people have paid to watch the game.

    Watching England depresses me, I much prefer the proper football during the season. They are all to scared to express themselves on the ball at international level. So they spend most of the game playing the easy pass going knowhere :biggrin:

    I watched this game how all England games should be watched. The 30 seconds of highlights on bbc news. It was epic.

    Great goal by sturridge though.
