    Dumb. Joey's enjoying living under the Heathrow flight-path and being a big fish in our pond. Even if Everton were his childhood club, I can't see him going anywhere....

    He was great this year, but if they seriously want to pay £8m, make it happen.

    Don't forget how good Joey was in the first half or so of the season: he was heading for my POTY award but then he got banned and when he came back he didn't quite seem to reach the same high standard. Nevertheless, he was - and is - a VERY important player for us and we need some stability in the playing staff. Do we want another complete new team of players? Plus he is one player who can definitely hack it in the Premier League so I wouldn't be tempted even by offers of that sort of money.
