Muay Thai on the other hand... is for Sadists :emoticon-0178-rock:

Just over 15 years ago I obtained my Mongkol from the Coach (my uncle Steve) one proud day that.

Boxing is rigged just like Wrestling.

    Everyone knows that.

Allow me to break down the fight.

More of the same. Groves sets the tempo, Froch struggles to come inside.

Froch gets peppered by the jab and cross.

Groves is in an out, taunting his slower foe.

Groves gets his hand raised, too much overall class from the fellow from Nottingham.

...in other words, they fanny about in the ring to put on a show for the mugs watching while all the time eyeing up their next pay packet in a manufactured showdown.

It's the way they stare longingly into each other's eyes during the farcical pantomime build up to the fight.

****s. And most likely *****s to boot.

Nice way of putting a downer on it :)

I would pay to watch Roy Jones Jnr vs Budgy

    Would be a terrific round.

    Wanhunnerdpercent.

I like Groves. I hope he wins.

I think he'll get knocked not though. I hope I'm wrong.

All this talk of Froch not preparing is one thing but Groves had just split with Booth and hadn't really built up a relationship with Paddy Fitzpatrick. That was hardly plain sailing.

Groves is a more skilful boxer than Froch, he proved that in the first fight. Froch is the more experienced, and despite being the older, is likely to get stronger the more the fight goes on and stamina comes into play, as he's gone 12 rounds so many times before.

I think Groves will make sure he is in the condition of his life though, and maybe not go as flat out early on as he did in the first fight , and I can see Groves winning on points.

If it gets to points Froch will not win, as he won't be able to out box Groves, his only hope is to get a stoppage again

I'm not even going to ask. The marathon is on Sunday morning and I've been roped in to helping at that. I can't function any more the morning after a few pints.

It's sorely tempting though. If I don't keep my face known down at the local pub where they are boxing daft I'll have to start making friends with them all over again......that is so gay.

That's how I've felt at various points throughout the week.

Although the scorecards from last time out wee ****ing insane.

They only had Groves ahead by virtue if the knockdown and had it 4-4 going into the ninth. If It hadn't been stopped you'd expect from that position that Froch would have taken it on points.
