The plans dont just involve the KC either. From what is said another site close by is also being talked about as part of what HCC want to do.

...and there is the problem. Whilst that clueless Dinosaur is around nothing will get done in a hurry.

Simone Butterworth or something like that. That memorable a person I can't recall her or her contributions to improving things in Hull.

Like it or not, if you live within the Hull boundary, then the Council are our political representatives on local issues.

They are elected via a legal process and have the power to change policy in local areas.

A gripe at the Lord Mayor is reasonable as this office is not elected by voters but the longest serving councillor of the ruling party is normally
appointed to the role. Maybe it's time that was changed.

But, as far as the rest go it's put up or shut up......:emoticon-0117-talki

Everyone in the city moans constantly about the council and councillors and then the turnout every single ****ing election is pitifully low, indeed consistantly one of the lowest in the entire country.

    You do the maths.

Smoke and mirrors. Geraghty offered Assem Allam a joint venture to develop the land. Assem Allam turned down the offer. Depending on which story you believe, the Council refused to give Assem Allam the stadium for free or said they'd sell if they go an offer, but none was forthcoming. Either way the freehold remains with the City Council.

The Council would like to develop the land around the stadium, including Walton Street. They'd like Assem Allam on board. If not they will look to develop the land independently of him. They are not going to leave the West Park/Anlaby Road area like it is when the eyes of the world will be on us in 2017.

If Hull gets an olympic size swimming pool and new ice rink in West Park (or Bond Street) it will be because of the dinasaur Geraghty.

I presume this is addressed to me as you quote me. I'm no longer on the committee and have no sympathy for Nadine Fudge. I don't know what the attitude of the new committee is.

My concern is that whilst Hull City goes from strength to strength on the pitch we'll remain in a 25,000 seat stadia until Assem Allam can afford to move us to Melton or he starts talking to Hull City Council.

If Nadine was so desperate to go she should have bought a ticket.
