Although i wouldn't worry to much, i think this is just a swap deal Suarez for Lambert plus £4million, what do you guys think add ons means?

 

What you mean like Tottenham last year?! Cash in on Bale, great business then you have to build the team and bring in the right players but instead wasted 100 million. Too many changes will make us relegation fodder - I am not trying to be dramatic but you cannot make too many changes at once or you suffer and we would currently be without a proven goalscorer in the Premiership.

take three points from us and we have 53 which was good enough for 8th (if it's us) this season and last.

TBH if it ends up that 4 or 5 would need to be held at the club against their wishes that could make us more relegation fodder than having new faces that take time to get up and running. I honestly don't think we will do what Spurs did though. They just bought anyone even though it meant they had 4 players for each midfield berth.

We would obviously be more sensible and look to cover all bases.

 

I could see it being 18m Lovren, 9m Lambert and 25m Lallana. No way 31m for all three.

 

All I am trying to say is that you cannot make too many changes too quickly. We are already without a manager and I really hope that we do not lose too many players as once a few go there could be problems. I am not saying 8th would be bad, it would be brilliant, however very sad for a club whose team showed so much potential and we will always wonder what they could have achieved together. I am no puritan but what is the point of just surviving in the Premier League. Finishing up to maybe eighth and hoping for a cup run would be all that we can ever look forward to, if so what is the point - I am a realist but you have to aspire to get to the top of otherwise it just seems pointless.

 

31m to loose Lovren, Lallana and Lambert would be an absolute disgrace.

It seems strange that SKY and BBC are reporting 2 different fee's. Maybe it's 4mil potentially rising to 9mil with the add ons? But the question is what are the add ons?


It's all a bit confusing right now!

 

Hope the add on's are nothing too outrageous, like Liverpool finishing in the top four next season.
